DOA

I purchased the Belkin N150 Router and N150 USB Wireless adapter together to enable Hughesnet on our second desktop. It is a 3 month old Dell 570 running Windows7 64 bit. Based on the reviews, it should have been a snap. My mistake was not realizing that this "latest generation", is not the previous model which had very high marks.
Belkin must have found a cheaper manufacturer in a less developed country to produce the new model.
I'll review the router after I get the network setup. The USB adapter arrived DOA. I spent 3 hours trying both the autorun CD and Windows 7 driver installer with no luck. When removing it to put back in the box to return it,
I noticed that the power LED wasn't on. Apparently that's the reason Windows couldn't get it working. So I gave it 0 stars for 0 performance, but Amazon requires at least 1 - (1 more than it deserves)!

I saw some of the negative reviews on this device but my personal experience is that it was extremely easy setting this device up with a desktop computer with Windows 7 on it. I usually hard line it to the router but my wife decided to move our office to another room. Rather than have the router and everything switched, I just plugged in this device and connected to the router wirelessly. I can't complain and would definitely get the product again.
Easy Setup, No-Worries Operation

This wireless adapter has exceeded all my expectations. I have been using Cisco and Linksys (owned by Cisco) products for my networking needs, but this was almost as easy as plug-and-play, and has never faultered when the other devices have. I will never overlook Belkin wireless products again.

Great if the conditions are met
I installed the software using Windows 7 and it was so easy and quick. My signal is not the best but I assume it's because my router is not a Belkin. by Aniuxca
User friendly, easy to setup! But for some reason the N300 (which is better) is much cheaper than the N150...
